Does anyone know why the vserver cifs domain discovered-servers show command is slow on my cluster? It takes 2-3 seconds to display each entry. With 300 entries, it takes a long time to see the results. What's happening in the background? Does it verify the reachability of the servers?

I have this same problem. One domain is slow, the other is not. I opened a ticket and they are telling me to basically turn off domain discover 🤦♂️

set the domain discovery mode to site-local only, then it will only query DCs that are in the same site and should be fast
