We have two aggregates with 28 partitioned disks.
We would now like to add an additional 20 disks, but of cause if you just do the normal "aggregate add-disks..." it will create a new RG with unpartitioned disks, which we do not want in this case... we are on 9.13.1P2. are there any new features that will allow us to partition our new disks? (I have an internal document somewhere describing a way, but hoping there is an easier way?)

I think what you want is storage disk create-partition -source-disk ... -target-disk ... (in diag)
HIdden in the diag 😉 I think I overhead that this should be changed with 9.14 (making it a bit easier)... but thanks! 🙂
yeah I think it should be at least in advanced, as it's not really a "dangerous" command
I heard diag is "not supported" 👀
nah... why not? I think "systemshell" things are not supported 😉
Depends who you ask at NetApp
