#ONTAP Simulator: unassigned disks

I just created a vm with the ova on vmware vpshere and I made a basic install: I have selected a single node setup ( not sure if this is a good approach or not) for my testing Lab. I will be using Ansible to manage ONTAP to simulate a prod env.

Currently I have a warning and errors that I have 14 unassigned disks. For my goal, do I need to reinstall the vm and not choose a single node?
Do I need to manually assign all the unassigned disks to the storage system or is it expected to have unassigned disks and I just need to leave them alone?
I would really appreciate it if someone could let me know where I can find the documentation for setting up simulator, I am using v9.13

You can assign all the disks and use them. I would also increase the size of the root aggregate & node root volume to at least 20GB, if you plan to leave it running constantly.

Got it thank you ! I have enabled automatic disk assignment and it seems I have no more errors

I can't seem to find any for 9.13

I imagine the configuration documentation will just follow the ontap documentation and there is not another version to it?

@tough tulip @keen rose I wonder if it would make sense to have a vSIM section?
