Quick question. Aside from checking ActiveIQ and maybe the Express Upgrade documentation, is it really required still with newer firmware that you HAVE to stop all replication and snapmirror jobs before upgrading firmware?
I recall this was something you had to do with 8.x but do you really need to take those steps before doing a non-disruptive upgrade?

Do you mean when your doing an ONTAP software upgrade, eg ONTAP 9.9.1 to 9.11.1 ? I have never stopped any replication jobs in the past 10 years of running CDOT. Generally I always try and upgrade the snapmirror destination cluster first.

If using XDP it shouldn’t matter as long as ONTAP versions are even reasonably close.
