#NAbox Plus Harvesting

Hi Team,

I’m new to Netapp and I have responsibilities to configure NEtapp Harvesting

I have few questions -

After I deploy NAbox

  1. I need to install Netapp harvest, do not need to edit harvest.yml file

  2. we need to enter user while adding storage system what we created with user role with Netapp harvesting

Yes, you need to go to the configuration maintenance menu to install Harvest into nabox. https://nabox.org/documentation/configuration/#maintenance You want to use the tar.gz format for Harvest found at the bottom of the page https://github.com/NetApp/harvest/releases/tag/v23.11.0

Thanks @random terrace one more question do I need to edit harvest.yml file in this case if yes then how can we do it , SSH into NAbox with root account (after OVA deployment) and do so

the nabox UI edits harvest.yml for you - that works for most cases, but not all. Yes, if you need to edit it you would ssh into nabox and edit it, but you probably won't need to
