#Root data data to root data

Hello together,

We have a problem with a new delivered Cluster, which is now in use for a ransomeware green feld project.
An a250 was ordered but we got one head with a Fas 2750 and one with c190. Strangely enough the cluster setup worked and I noticed the wierd combination later.

Now the there is the problem that the disks are in root data data but the Fas head can't handle this. We only need one big aggr with max capacity. My Idea is to change the disks to root data and ignore the Fas head.
I thought about the 9a and 9b but i see there no option about root data and root data data. What is your recommended way?

Not sure I follow…. You ordered an A250 that shipped with one controller as a 27xx and the other is a c190?

#

Not sure how that’s even possible as The 27xx and 190 do not fit in the 250 chassis.

#

Have you opened a support case or asked your account team what happened with the order ?

Okay edit it is a Aff A150 and yes they are in the same chassi.
We opened a case but we need the system now with max capacity and the cluster worked on a test aggregate.

What has support said? I would think they would ship a replacement controller?

#

Otherwise…. There’s nothing available as far as documentation to “convert” a 27xx to a A series. Support will have to help there

I’d also make sure you account team is aware of all this.
