Hi all, I'm not sure if I see it correctly but should not the sum of all volume_space_physical_used should match the sum of aggr_space_physical_used? Because on one cluster we are calculating from a specific SVM all the volume_space_physical_used but this value is higher then the aggr space physical used

That's more an ONTAP question. How far are they off?

#

Actually no...there is metadata at thr aggr level as well.

@serene jetty Could you please share the dashboard containing this panel with us and you can send them at ng-harvest-files@netapp.com Also, Please provide ONTAP version of the cluster.

Hi @lavish robin this is a blank dashboard with only one panel. I will send you the json for that. About the ONTAP version is 9.11.1P6

#

Could it be that with cross volume dedup the size wont match?

Thanks @serene jetty for the info, We have received the json and I will try to reproduce locally. I have gone through couple of ONTAP pages where it's mentioned the same. I will check from Harvest perspective and it would be better to confirm this with some ONTAP expert. Could it be that with cross volume dedup the size wont match?

Oh...yeah.

@serene jetty I have added few more columns in your given table panel, this is how it looks. we have compared the values of these aggr and volume counters in SM, ONTAP cli and rest response, They all are same and Harvest shows the exact same numbers.
But again, the sum of physical space of all volumes in that aggr and aggr physical space don't matched and that question is still open. And it seems to be the question towards the ONTAP as it's the source of truth.
