when did it change that we had to add 2 drive packs to a c250 for 4 disks instead of just 2? Quoting tool is killing me

you mean for a capacity add? or a new system?
granted.. i haven't done a capacity add for a c250 yet.
just tested a new C250 I could add 8 base + 1 pack of 2. for 10 drives.

It's funky but for C-series the min drives you can add is 4 then 2 packs after that. I believe that is due to the nature of the media used in C-series and preventing wear by just adding 2 drives to a system
