REST API - "vserver config override"

Hi,

In XDP SnapMirror relationships, when resizing a source volume, the new size does not sync to the destination volume. The KB for the issue states the solution as:

::*> vserver config override -command "volume modify -vserver <dest_SVM> -volume <dest_vol> -size <new_size>"

Is there an equivalant API command for "vserver config override"?

Out of curiosity; what is the reasoning of why autosize is not enough?
