#DR a single App

I am not sure I fully understand the question. I think you are saying you want to move one app into a new SVM then do SVM-DR to that SVM correct? You can rehome a Volume but that will mean a new mount point. So you would build your new SVM and namespace, rehome the volume with your desired data, reconnect the app to this new mount point then set up your SVM-DR. You can do individual SVM-DR failovers so failover just the one SVM with the app and leave the orginal SVM behind. Hope that helps.
Problem we have Keith is we have 1 app in a SVM containing a 100, and just this 1 app would like to do a DR test
You could create a new svm. Snapmirror the volume from the source svm to the test svm. Then break the mirror and use that svm as the source.
Maybe I missed something, but that is a way
