Now that smb is supported, what is the recommended way to ensure storage classes are pinned to backends of an appropriate type? For example I'm wanting nfs volumes but smb is being provisioned and then I get errors about smb not supported on linux.

use the nasType in your backend, create one for NFS and one for SMB, use the nasType in your StorageClass for example:
