How are you wizards out there handling data protection with Trident managed persistent volumes?

I need to make the switch to "nas-economy" because of volume limits and according to the Internet this breaks fundamental functions of for example Astra Control Center and Kasten K10.
Is there any truth in that and what should I do instead?

true that CSI Snapshots don't work with Qtree, and also most App mgmt tools base their protection on these CSI Snapshots

one quick alternative:

  • move to SAN-ECO which is compatible with CSI Snapshots, though mostly used for RWO
  • move to NAS-ECO & make use of ONTAP Snapshots access
