Scaling out ONTAP cluster, and add new PV

While scaling out ONTAP cluster, we removed the existing aggregate list so that new PV will not add to the old nodes, and then update the backend.
We have done the testing that this step will not affect the existing workload, ontap-san and ontap-nas.
Any recommendations on this process?
