Does Fabricpool supported on Unmirrored aggregate in Metrocluster ?
Ontap version : 9.11 p8

Unmirrored aggregates/local tiers
MetroCluster expects all local tiers, both traditional aggregates, and those using FabricPool, to be
mirrored. Unmirrored aggregates in MetroCluster environments do not need to use FabricPool Mirror, but
they generate messages warning that the aggregate is not mirrored, and when using FabricPool, that
they are missing a FabricPool Mirror.

this is from the tech FAQ - In MetroCluster environments, do unmirrored aggregates need to use FabricPool Mirror?
Answer: No.

you're right though in that i'm not seeing it specifically started.

There is no error when we try to configure it . However, there is no data movement or IDR even though the configured policy is snapshot -only
