I got a e2600 and I want to use it as a JBOD. I just connected it to a TrueNAS Scale system and it recognizes it as one big drive (2.2tb). So I wondered if I could just switch it to a JBOD function or something like that, that I can use a ZFS pool in truenas. Is this possible and do I need the SANtricity software (I don't really know how to download it) or could I just press a button to do that? Thanks a lot!

Hi there! JBOD mode would be unsupported. You would need to find compatible SAS expanders to replace the e-series controllers in the box

I'm not aware of people having done it before, so, no guarantees it would work. reddit.com/r/homelab might be able to help more

SANtricity offer a super simple web interface to manage the system.
