Hello,

I have a problem with my netapp,

I would like to create an ISCSI to add it to my ESXI but it doesn't work.

The SSH ping from the ESXI server to the netapp is OK, the ping from the netapp to the ESXI is OK.

On ESXI, when I add the dynamic links, it automatically adds the static netapp links.

The problem is that I can't see the disk in ESXI's "Adapters" and so I can't use it.

Can you specify the OnTap and ESXi version. And some more details on the iSCSI configuration in the svm? Also a bit of network topology might help.

you probably forgot to configure the igroup ("lun masking") in ONTAP

What information do you need about ISCSI?

#

In topology of network :

They are the cisco router > Switch Cisco > Server ESXI and Netapp

#

The netapp are in trunk with one vlan

#

And the ESXI are in access

#

The ping are OK so i think is not a problem of network but a problem with the configuration of the netapp

How did you add the ESXi initiators to the the NetApp svm config?

And If I set the Security Type to "Default" and then refresh, it is automatically removed, so I have to set it to "None".

That's the correct place.
And you assigned the LUNs to the initiator?

I hadn't thought of that, so I added the iniator to the lun group.

#

However, I did a refresh on the ESXI and it did nothing.

#

This is the configuration of the LUNs

#

I've also tried adding a Portset to the Iniator groups and then rescanning the ESXI but no change, the disk is not added

#

Oh is good,After several attempts the disc appeared, thank you!

I would not use portsets, they overcomplicate things especially in small environments, but ultimately it's up to you

Absolutely!
