Hi.
Was there any change in FlexClone volumes from snapshot behavior that could affect backup integrations on Commvault and Veeam?
I am getting errors after ONTAP 9.13.1 upgrade due to the solutions being unable to delete the snapshots. The error is that the snapshots can't be excluded due to a volume dependency.

New ontap versions need to be supported. Commvault supports up to 9.12.1 for now.

Newer versions can work, but are not supported and can lead to strange issues.
I have done many upgrades and always check the whole chain, which sometimes takes days.
Also Veeam states Support up to version 9.12.1

If there was a change from ONTAP I would expect to see at least some information on the release notes on a such essential function and behavior.

I agree!
But checking if your application is supported will always be manual labour, and necessary when performing changes. I would never want an unsupported (maybe good working) solution.
