Hi All
Is there a way (configuration tunning, recommended third-party software or hardware) to improve CIFS performance over VPN/WAN connections ?
What are the Netapp best practices for VPN CIFS users ?

We had customers who reported massively improved performance when they implementer RiverBed WAN optimizing solutions. There are multiple similar devices and I guess they all work pretty similar

GFC might also help, but that's more for WANs. You'd have to set up a GFC instance for each VPN client and that could get pricy.
