Hi everyone, i need to update a FAS2620 to the latest version because of the KB5021130 netlogon change... But i dont know where to start.

Can you share any documentation to do so?

What version of ONTAP can I upgrade to?

The version of ONTAP that you can upgrade to varies based on your hardware platform and the version of ONTAP currently running on your cluster's nodes.

Best get an Upgrade Advisor report: https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap/upgrade/task_plan_with_upgrade_advisor.html

Then as mentioned in the sidebar, verify if everything is working fine (not all steps are necessary if you know your system but if you do it the first time, pls check everything)

Automated nondisruptive update using System Manager

Using System Manager, you can nondisruptively update the version of ONTAP on your cluster.

...or just YOLO it and do cluster image package get -url http://... ; cluster image update -version ... -stabilize-minutes 1 -skip-confirmation true -ignore-validation-warning true 😂

...it will still cancel if there's an issue preventing you from safely updating

download ontap 9.11.1P8 / P9 or P10. you can´t install an ontap 9.12 or 9.13 on a FAS2620. you can install the image with system manager or on the CLI.
