Replacement disk was added to a shelf and was asseigned to node 1 instead of node 2 by mistake. the disk has now gone into an unknown state as their appears to be a connection issue between node 1 and the shelf.
removeowner command wont work as N1 cant see the disk and the disk cannot be reassigned until the owner is cleared.

As the disk is in an unknown state and doesn't contain data is it a case of reseating the disk and assigning the correct N2 owner?
(im aware correct procedure would be to resolve the shelf issue but management wont fly me to London)
