I distinctively remember reading somewhere in a footnote that running a MetroCluster IP over a Cisco ACI fabric (as "Open Network" using "MetroCluster Compliant Switches") is not supported. Now I can't seem to find this anymore.
Anyone know where I can find that info? I need to send that info to a customer.

The keyword to search for is VXLAN since ACI is using that as an overlay.

"VLAN overlay such as Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) is not supported."
https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap-metrocluster/install-ip/concept_considerations_isls.html#number-of-isls-and-breakout-cables-in-the-shared-network

"Not supported: [...] L2 over L3 network using VxLAN"
