If i have a 2 node cluster setup and i have a single ISCSI SVM with 2 ISCSI LIFS (one on each node) when i add the SVM into VMware using Dynamic Discovery, do i need add it in twice for both IP's of the SVM ? If i was doing a Static Discovery i would add in both

Eg if my SVM has the ips of 10.0.0.10 and 10.0.0.11 do i do a Dynamic Discover for both IP's ?

You can check in VMware under "storage devices", then click on one of your LUNs, then check the "paths" tab. If you see 2 paths, you're all set. If you only see one, you need to connect the second path manually

...or just use OTV. Make sure you've got MPIO Host Settings applied.

Don’t that require setting up iscsi beforehand? Haven’t done it in a while

I only ever did it for direct-to-guest mounts to windows app servers, personally. @steady badge where you at?
