What method does Trident use to load balance PVC creation between different backends related to the same Storage Class?
In my case, I have 2 backends of type ontap-nas-economy, when I create a set of PVC every time the blend between both backends is changing :

if you have to ask that question, you're probably doing something wrong. If your two backends are created equal, then Trident can choose whichever it wants. If you want or need to keep some things on one backend and some things on another, you need to create sepaarte storage classes
point is: the selection logic is not set in stone, it is not part of any API/ABI, and if you try and rely on it, you will get burned at some point

The use case is for a mcc environment where we want t distribute the worload somehow equaly between 2 backends representing both sides of the metro. We considered csi topology but this present some complexities we cant use for this envirnment. We are just looking for a way to create load balancing even not perfect between 2 backends.
