Hey guys, normally i dont use automatic update functions. I enabled it this time to let it update to 9.10.1P12 but it doesnt happen.
The reason i need it is this problem here:

atm im running the "workaround" but not for long (11. July 2023)
any idea how to make it autoupdate to P12 or higher?
Clusterversion: 9.10.1P7
Firmware: SP 5.11

ONTAP will only download and update firmware automatically (if you configure it). It won't happen for ONTAP-updates.
Usually you don't update ONTAP that often (maybe 1-2x times a year). So you don't really want that to happen automatically without any notice. (Even though we have customers who start the update during daytime and get themselves a coffee...)
If you update regularly, know how your environment behaves, check the interoperability of your software, it actually is not that difficult or even nerve-wracking anymore like it may have been in the past.
