#SnapCenter and A-A SQL Clusters

I recently deployed snapcenter in our environment. We have a "active-active" microsoft failover cluster being used as a data warehouse. The snapcenter plugins installed fine but I have issues when I try to configure the log directories for the plugin. When I click the browse buttons, all I get are the cluster resources on one node.
I have found the following that sounds similar: https://community.netapp.com/t5/Data-Backup-and-Recovery/SnapCenter-on-SQL-cluster-active-active/m-p/152754#M12633
Other than that I have not found anything (the reason I am here now). Looking through the info on the link the person references the SQL Browser service. He enabled his services; both my nodes have the sql browser service (normal) and both are running fine. Other than that I have nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, would someone explain the difference between the host log directory and the FCI log directory?
What if there are diffent log directories for different instances?

Let me try to put it in different words: the 'log directory' is there directory where SnapCenter put's the backups (type log) of the instance. The host of the host SQL instances, the FCI for the clustered SQL instances. Both these needs to be on a NETAPP lun. The host one can needs to be a dedicated disk, the FCI a clustered (shared) one. During a backup cycle SnapCenter makes a backup of the changes (log backup) to the log directory, and after that creates a snapshot of that disk.

I also think there's a lot of documentation missing for Snapcenter best practises when protecting these kind of SQL resources.
Or is there anything like that out there but just well hidden?
