#DDP to DDP16

I don't have the answer, but how can you tell what type of DDP you have, DDP or DDP16?
In grid manager, navigate into "nodes", "hardware", then look at Storage RAID mode option
AFAIK node have to be reinitialized from scratch. Data must be evacuated from the node.
Upon this link, it seems DDP16 is only supported on SG5700. https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/storagegrid-116/sg5700/optional-changing-raid-mode-sg5760-only.html
Is it supported on SG6060? My understanding is that we could gain more usable space from DDP16. Is it worth of converting? We have 4 nodes now, and going to have 8 nodes. Thanks for your response @mental flicker
@fickle anvil yes, we have SG6060 and DDP16 and it's supported. We did the reconfiguration when expanding from 4 to 6 nodes using node cloning procedure. It has been not so fast but it works 😉
We will also have to convert EC coding from 2+1 to 6+1 when exapnd to 8 nodes. So, these two conversions are separated, my understanding, they will take very long time.
