We have some flexvols we need to convert to flexgroups. These have offsite snapvault relationships. How does this work with the conversion?
Do the destination first and then the source? Are all of the snapshots associated with the original single member or are they gone? I don't want to have to do an initial sync again since these volumes are large (which is why they're being converted).

This is the concerning part:
Warning: Converting flexible volume "src_xdp" in Vserver "vs0" to a FlexGroup
will cause the state of all Snapshot copies from the volume to be set
to "pre-conversion". Pre-conversion Snapshot copies cannot be
restored.

Or is this saying we can't do a "snap restore"? That would make sense, but I don't want to find out that we can't restore individual files from the snapshots.

not really, no. The snapvault destination is in a remote site and re-initializing will take multiple days and lose the history.
