Any reason why Cluster RCF 1.1 has suddenly been dropped since 9.11, happily been using this for a while, not sure why 9.12 isn't officially support? Is there a documented way to move from Cluster RCF 1.1. to say Cluster-HA-Breakout RCF 1.10? would it be the same procedure as upgrading the RCF within the same type?

Ah found it. It allow for non-disruptive cluster switch replacement even with non-Cisco switches.

Yeh 1.4 is quite old we wouldnt use that. We would NDU move the cluster lifs to the other switch as a precaution anyway, like i said we would probably have to go to Cluster-HA-Breakout RCF 1.10 anyway

apparently i am reading upgrading your RCF isnt supported, its a wipe and then rebuild with new??

Not sure. Did you find any documentation on upgrading the RCF?

for the Cisco switches there is a separate "wipe" script that removes some config that you cannot edit in-place. The RCF generator builds this script for you

That generator is for mcc Cisco switches.

ah, right, I was assuming MCC because it's much more common than having 4/6/8... node clusters 😉

Lol. Not in the USA.
