ansible job_template schedule in windows server | NetApp | Page 1

Hi everyone,
Looking for your inpus and help. We are allowed to run in ansible tower but not to schedule job_template in tower nor ansible server. Looking for suggestions if we can schedule ansible job_template in our windows server ( like scheduleusing crontabin linux server)?

Requirement: schedule jobs to run specific time. I can get job_template id fom tower but not allowed to schedule jobs over there?

You could schedule a script to trigger the Tower API or AWX cli https://github.com/ansible/awx/blob/devel/INSTALL.md#installing-the-awx-cli

Looks like it requires Linux server which i don't have it to use

Any possible I can get scheduled in windows server? Or python script locally

@lapis relic i know you reach out on DM for me to look a this. I don't have any experience with running our collection on Tower. it should work with either linux or Windows, they are 100% python based like other ansible collection, so it should work, but i haven't done it my self.
