Replication failed because ACC reports that destination backend is not managed | NetApp | Page 1

I'm trying to set up a replication policy using ONTAP Select on each side, on a on on-premise environment (vSphere 7, Rancher 2.7.1, ONTAP Select 9.12.1).

Both storage backends are managed with ACC, I'm able to perform backups, snapshots, and I can clone from one on-premise data center to another, but setting up replication policies fails.

Both ONTAP Select clusters and their SMVs are paired.
Trident logs show no errors.
Rancher logs show no errors.
The SnapMirror relationship is displayed as successful in ONTAP.
I've deleted all backends and added them again.
