Hello, is it possible to access the SP as part of a system setup before it is joined to the cluster, we have a system where the SP address is responding for a username and password, but unsure what the default password could be, we have only configured the basic configuration for mgmt\sp to this point.

From the loader prompt I think you can do “sp setup”? If not do a help sp. finally try a “priv set diag” then a “help sp” at the loader. There is a way to set it up for remote access without ONTAP

You have to do the inital setup of ONTAP for mgmt etc, then breakout and manually set the SP IP and its all good.
