#MSSQL - what volumes to use with Snapvault

Looking through the documentation for the MSSQL plugin I notice there's no clear instructions about which LUN's to set up snapvault for.

There are three LUN's needed, as far as I can tell:

  1. Database
  2. Transation log
  3. Log directory

Should all three be snapvaulted to follow good data protection practise?
Can/should any of the LUN's share a volume for easier restore/management?

Interesting, so in all those examples the database log LUN is stored in the same volume as the database LUN.
But the Log directory LUN is always separated.

In that case it would mean two snapvaults (since it's on volume level). Have I intepreted this correctly?
