good evening everyone, for educational purposes I bought a used netapp, the code shown on the product is used for many models I don't want to turn it on if I first don't know if I have to wire something, on the netapp site I can't even find where to look for the exact model to get the documentation.
I hope not to disturb you and I apologize in advance for the inconvenience I am causing you

That’s exactly what it is. It has the 8Gb FC mezzanine in each node too
Used filers are generally not a good investment for educational purposes - you'll have issues getting licenses and ONTAP releases for it. You'd actually be better off (and cheaper off) turning on Hyper-V on your desktop (if it supports it), and downloading the simulator into a virtual machine.
^ correct, license's aren't transferable. and software is downloadable if you have a valid support contract.
I love all those eBay listings of "transferrable licenses" from a particular eBayer. I always end up doing the guy from Jurassic Park...
Thanks to all! About licence, how can I do? I can buy educational one if exist?
There's not much to do, unfortunally. That system went end of life in 2 years ago. As did pretty much any OS that runs on it.
There's no educational version either. We have some virtual labs though.
