Hi all ! Today I was trying to finish a IP Metrocluster with AFF 400 and nexus 9336C RCF with some issues using the RCF generator !!!
I was unable to generate a new RCF file with de jar file. Anyone’s it’s having or has the same issue ?
I try with different OS with a Null error .
BTW really nice look of the new nvme shelf

Out of interest where did you get the RCF generator from?

it is available on the Support Site under Downloads -> MetroCluster RCF
I just tried the JAR file on my mac (intel) and it fails. I started a win11 VM and installed java. I double-clicked the JAR file and it worked fine. I was able to create RCF files for MCCIP for 9336C-FX2, Direct Storage, L2 Network (direct ISL), ONTAP 9.11.1 for the A400
So, back on the mac. It would NOT work from the CLI (javawa ./RcfFileGenerator.jar). WHen I went to Finder, If I control-right click->open, it worked just like on Windows

Those switches are not installed the best way. The power supplies should be flush with the front of the rack to take in cool air, not air from inside the rack

Problem solve . just using a older version of RCF generator solve the problem .
