I forwarded this to the Product Manager as I'm not sure they have a presence on discord.
I found out that even as NetApp is winding down supporting SMBR. Ontrack, the company who wrote SMBR will still be selling and supporting it.
Yes, that's true, however, I pay for it as part of my bundle today,and I only need to call NetApp Support if I need. Now the bundle price stays the same, but I have to create another relationship and another CapEx to a different company. And if I need support, do I call Ghostbusters? 😉
And I understand most companies are going cloud Exchange, but we are restricted to on-prem. 😉
