Hello, I've recently watched Onair's ADP episode: in the video, as a best practice to grow aggregates made of partitioned drives, it's suggested to add at least 6 disks or partition at a time, to avoid any performance bottelneck. What's the real downside, with ssd drives, of adding for instance 1 partition at a time to an aggregate?

Thanks!

If it is an existing RG that isn't at it's maximum, then you will be fine. The danger comes in when you're starting a new RG with less than 6x at a time.

Thanks Scott, is there any way to verify that? Sometimes I used statit to verify if a specific raid group can represent a bottelneck, but that happened more with spinning drives...
