Doing an upgrade on one of our stacks, FAS8020 nodes are EOM and I deployed FAS8200 nodes\disk shelves into this cluster for this upgrade. Created new tiers and migrated volumes. Migrated all LIFs (data\cifs\ mgmt) to the FAS8200 nodes. I've offlined all the volumes we are not using and shutdown the FAS8020 nodes for the usual 'scream test'...so far all is well. We may repurpose these disk shelves and I'm seeking guidance on next steps here...... need to wipe disks...then unjoin these nodes from the cluster.. found this KB.... if someone has completed similar process....any guidance appreciated.
