#Data retrieval from AWS S3 is slower than ingestion?

I don't know if you experienced the same. I tried to re-tier a large amount of data from StorageGrid to AWS S3. Also, tried to re-tier data from AWS S3 to StorageGrid. I feel retrieval is obviously slower than ingestion. Can you please tell the reason?
