When installing multiple cards into the back of say an A700 for example, you have priority slot assignments for different cards, however when you have many different types of cards being installed which type of card takes priority over another as some of the slots obviously can be the same, for example would you prioritise cluster networking, normal networking then FC modules when working out what goes in what slot? im using HWU as my reference but got confused when using different cards which have overlapping slot assignments.

The higher the card on the list, the higher prefence the card has. Also, you don't need to ever remove a card. Just put it in the next slot on the list.
