Seems like you have only updated binaries and not dashboards
i dont see in nabox i have done it before anytime , does it mean to reimport dashboards?
yes
even in steps suggested by Yann i dont see it
@lapis badger had some improvement planed in this area. He can add more.
I recall, NABox doesn't auto import dashboards post binary update currently
okay i will wait for an update from @lapis badger
You have to reset dashboards to import the new ones
It’s a button on the maintenance page too
@lapis badger does that mean any custom dashboard i created will also be reset?
if you can please i have a couple of custom dashboards i use a lot
if they get deleted it will be a problem 🙂
You should be fine. It just uses Harvest's --overwrite flag. But make sure you don't have Harvest tags on them anyways
If it is useful to you @pallid lintel You can take backup of existing dashboards through below command in NABox. Repeat them for relevant folders as needed
bin/grafana export --addr grafana:3000 --serverfolder "Harvest - cDOT" --directory /opt/abc
How and where to run this CLI in harvest? https://github.com/NetApp/harvest/wiki/Troubleshooting-Harvest#how-do-i-run-harvest-commands-in-nabox
Reason I removed auto import is that some people added panels in the stock Harvest dashboards and got that overwritten on harvest ugrade, or even any startup of NAbox, I chose the safest route but I have to find a way to make the user more aware that new dashboards won't be installed by default
hmm thanks Guys this helps a lot i will try this right away and provide you the feedback
still no luck guys
okay @lapis badger i see whats happening when i reset it has create duplicates of the dashboard
now i need to clean off all the old dashboards because now i see both of them old ones as well as new
You are getting them duplicate as we have renamed dashboards in 22.11
Yes that part is annoying. Not sure how to « fix » this. Maybe you can delete the whole folder and import again. As long as you didn’t put yours in the same folder.
ahh cool that makes sense cool thanks guys
