I should probably mention that my domain account has cluster admin role through AD group membership, it has "http" set as application.
"admin" role has spi admin access when checking vserver services web access show -vserver cluster

A local cluster account with "admin" role and "http" application can access the SPI.

This has never worked for me. To access the SPI, we have always had to use the local admin account for the cluster. Would be really nice to be able to pull logs using our domain accounts though, so if you figure out a way, please let me know (our domain accounts have admin roles for http, ontapi, and ssh but cannot log into the SPI).
