hi @limber bay right, in that example harvest2 was used as the user that has authentication-method cert. I'm not sure if you can use the FQDN instead of a common name. I put together that documentation to answer questions on SAN certs and general trouble shooting. It's probably obvious, but bears repeating, Harvest doesn't have much to do with any of the cert workflow, we use them to attempt an HTTPs connection when provided, but all the handling is on the ONTAP side. That's why the documentation you linked to talks about verifying with openssl and curl since if those tools work, Harvest will. If they don't, Harvest won't either
