It looks like an issue with snapmirror itself. The response is coming from the REST API Failed to identify aggregate on which to create volume "volume1_DR". (No eligible aggregate to place the volume. Make sure that a non-root, non-taken-over, non-snaplock, non-composite aggregate with enough free space exists at the destination cluster. If aggr-list is configured for the SVM make sure that an eligible aggregate is present in that list. Verify that the number of volumes is less than the supported maximum on the nodes in the destination cluster.)

Maybe this is a limitation with FSxN. Could you create the volume first using na_ontap_volume ?

I was able to create it using na_ontap_volume.

@worldly fulcrum I still am not able to create it using netapp.ontap.na_ontap_snapmirror module though. Have you or anyone in the community seen similar error before?

No, but I would assume most customers are creating their volumes.

You could open a case with ONTAP. I would think it's an issue with FSxN and the REST API. Or your aggregate is not eligible.
