The general answer is no. The REST team, and the ONTAP teams in general, are working hard on simplifying ONTAP. This includes removing seldom used options, or using default values that don't need to be exposed to end users. But this discussion truly belong in #┊・ontap-api . We're using the APIs in our Ansible modules, and are limited by what the APIs support.
