what else can they do? bolt-on, non integrated afterthoughts in support of a failed business model that denies the impact and value of cloud... calling a rigid on premises "as-a-service" offering "cloud" vs. the truth of it being a thinly disguised HW based lock in to buy them time to spin a different marketing reality vs. doing what NetApp has done... seen and accepted the changing market and partnered, collaborated, innovated to provide value to customers.

Spheres are cool. Before COVID, at least, workers could go in there and work. They have a conference room that is surrounded by plants.
There's also a "birds nest" which is a great quiet place to take a small meeting.
If you are ever in Seattle and if you know someone that works at Amazon, they can get you in pretty easily (again, that was pre-COVID - not sure on what that looks like right now).

There's not any analogy out there, really, this is truly a first
ANF is A700s in Microsoft datacenters, wired up to the Azure portal with API integrations. This is ONTAPaaS, truly, with enough AWS infrastructure underneath to provide performance and scalability to run tier 1 enterprise apps reliably on it.
So it's still a first-party service delivery, similar to how ANF is delivered/billed/supported, but AWS is all software on their incredible backend infrastructure. It's also available TODAY in ALL regions. No whitelist, no handholding. Supported and Billed by AWS.
