Try to land every game the same spot so you know everything about it, every chest, Weapon Spawn. Then you need a drop map for a good drop if you have all these you shouldn't die. But if it doesn't work for you try to inprove your aim, hitting every shot off spawn is super effective.

If you don’t land on a very contested area just take it slow in my opinion as it’ll be easier to win off spawn consistently if you won’t get outdropped in a 50/50 building or chest and die because of that every time
