dose it have another ram slot
do u have 2x8
u can get a stick of 16gb 2666 for $35
get two of them
and then sell ur current ram
and could maybe get a cpu like an I7 12700k
hopefully that help
It would sliiightly bottle neck but then u will have a perfect cpu for when u can upgrade ur gpu, which some of the older series are quite cheap atm
my oppion is ryzen but i didnt suggest as it would be extra to get a new mobo
ive got a ry73n 7800x with a 2080
had my 2080 for 6 years still going strong
ohh got you
then a new mobo would be the next step
with pc my oppion is spend alot of money once and then upgrade it years in the future
im only just starting to upgrade it 6 years later, i was lucky and got it before the rise of gpu prices
Yeh thats not bad at all
Yeah i would go with that
bbut 2060 will need to be upgraded soon
Tbh you should start saving up
for 750 you have the best cpu + good motherboard
since fortnite is a cpu based game
and then buy a better graphics card
@eager star your mbo supports also 3200 rams or 2666 max?
what mbo do you have?
so you have 3600mhz ram now?
activate the xmp in bios
you can OC manually to 3600?
if xmp don't work
go to bios settings and on OC tab
increase the memory ratio
you have 1 stick or 2?
and what model of ram?
I used to have that before i upgraded to 32gb
that need to support 3600 on your mbo
I will search a solution to activate xmp
I found something
Go to you bios and put xmp off and put dram frequency on 3600 and FCLK on 1600.
wait I search that
ok so go on windows settings on update and security
now on recovery tab
click on r3start now
after you see the blue screen
press on troubleshoot
advanced options
yes
it should
at oc tab
what you have at tweaker?
did you take a bite out of that mousepad or whatever it is?
set dram frequency
at 3600
and go to dram timing control
and you should see FCLK
no go back, at xmp what you have?
and at Ai overclock tuner what you have?
put auto
and now on dram frequency you can set a higher frequency?
but not 3600
put a bit higher than 2666
no put 3000
and see if it boots
yes
You can get back in bios to set to 2666?
@regal tree he have xmp but the ram are limited to 2666 and he have 3600
do you have another keyboard?
yes
The processor is the fault
its limited to 2666
