Even though i'm using the same epic account. i can't find my save data for the game of my desktop while on my laptop. I'm assuming i need to manually save t he save files? Any help would be great! thanks

Unfortunately this game doesn't (yet?) support the Epic Cloud game feature.
However, all of the game data is stored in %localappdata%\NWX\. Just copy everything from there to your laptop.
You'll also have to copy it back to resume playing on the PC, as it would be a separate copy.

Rinh'a and I both put in requests to the Devs for Epic Games Cloud Support today but yeah... not supported yet, sadly.
