My Friend rented G-portal server and we all keep getting network error message and are unable to connect to rented server. We also tried dedicated server and the same problem keeps happening. Any tips how to fix? we all play in epic games launcher if that matters.

for gportal, make sure you're using the right port number and password - don't use any of the things in the ftp section.

We are using same ip and port what gportal shows

the port is the numbers after the colon in the red box, and the password is whatever you set in your default settings.

#

I just bring up the port thing because a lot of people see the only thing labeled "port" and use that , which is incorrect.

we are using right port number

if you're using the correct one from the top and gportal still isn't working, you may need to contact gportal to find out why. There's literally no other setup that you should need to do other than hitting the slider thing to turn the server on.

for the dedicated server - whatever machine is hosting the dedicated server will need to turn on port forwarding for both TCP and UDP in the router its behind
