There are things showing as tracking that I have no idea how to remove the tracking - like the angling basket, I do not need to track this.
I've tried to locate where to untrack these and cannot find it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In the building menu (as those are all buildable items) should be a toggle.
If you need to, there's two different build menus you can toggle with T or / if I remember right.
You should be able to track and untrack (or pin however it's called) from there
